Just stayed for a couple of nights and have to say I was most surprised by the welcome I received. Really warm and friendly, they allocated a room at the back of the hotel as per my request, made me a nice drink and also helped me with my suitcase. The hotel has been refurbished and it looks lovely, my room was freshly cleaned and I had everything that I needed. The breakfast in the morning was second to none, didn't expect that. Freshly made and served with a smile. On departure they made sure I have enjoyed my stay and asked me to come back again which I definitely will. Thank you to all that looked after me so well and see you again next year.
The service was amazing and the rooms were extremely clean. Breakfast was very nice and the heating was also working very well specially given the cold weather. Do you have a car park which is extremely cheap and it’s only a very small fee for the whole stay. The staff were extremely helpful and they even assisted me to protect my car in the snow. The chef was extremely friendly and throughout the stay and offered help several times. A true gentleman.
This has been the BEST, CLEANEST, and most AFFORDABLE stay I’ve experienced in Birmingham! I was greeted by a kind soul named Noel who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He looked like he could be competing in a bodybuilding championship so after exchanging some words of wisdom about nutrition - he mentioned the breakfast there is really good… so I ended up upgrading and oh my, it exceeded my expectations!! They had a menu to suit my vegetarian diet, the veggie sausages were sooo good, egg perfectly cooked and the large drinks selection (and something sweet on the side). I honestly can’t wait to come back and do it all over again. I encountered a small problem after I had already left, which was handled with such efficiency that it genuinely surprised me. The hotel itself was spotless, beautifully refurbished, and had such a welcoming atmosphere. Big tv, clean and modern bathroom. It’s rare to find a place like this at such a great price. I’ll DEFINITELY be staying here again and I hope Noel’s there to greet us when we do. He’s truly a credit to the hotel and made our experience EXCEPTIONAL from start to finish.
It's a new hotel, so everything is new and comfortable. The staff were lovely and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. When there is a functioning train the commute to the city center is easy and quick. The bus is also fine, but it is more expensive and takes longer. Soundproofing is lacking. On my first night the neighbor didn't sleep all night and woke me up several times. He checked out the next day and then I slept very well. The water in the shower was warm-ish, not hot. It felt a bit cold for me to shower. Explanation about the public transport could be helpful, for example, that on Sundays the train arrives only once per hour and finishes at 18:30.
Although I had stayed here a few years ago but was pleasantly surprised at the New Decor. I was very happy that the same staff and the manageress were there to greet me at my arrival and that they actually remembered me. Forgot to take pictures of the room which was very nicely presented and spotless. The restaurant for breakfast was excellent and the dinner was also very good lm praising the burger and chips well done to the chef. I will be returning next year and bringing the family. Well done
Really impressed and a fantastic stay at Garner Hotel Birmingham South East. The rooms are modern, fresh and very comfortable, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The food was excellent, both in quality and choice. Breakfast was so much better than expected and alongside cold buffet, I got served freshly cooked hot food. Staff were welcoming, professional and always happy to help, which made the whole experience even better for me. A great hotel all round, I would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thank you Garner and looking forward to my next stay…
Awesome experience here. ( 5 star experience) The location was great, next to the station. The room was good size, very clean. All the staff are very helpful and hospitable, their smile , their manner are impress us for staying. With some friends enjoy in their bar, chill and helpful from the night shift staff, even we stayed very long time at midnight
We had a pleasant stay at Garner Hotel. While the hotel itself was good, the real star is definitely the chef! He prepared one of the best pizzas I’ve ever tasted. What impressed us even more was how he personally interacts with every guest at breakfast, takes their orders himself, and makes everyone feel welcome. Staff like this truly make a hotel special.
